Actor Bob Saget dies of head injury in his sleep, says his family
Actor Bob Saget dies 2022: Actor and comedian Bob Saget, who was found dead in his Orlando, Fla., hotel room last month, died of a head injury, according to a statement from his family.
“Officers have determined that Bob suffered head trauma,” the Saget family said in a statement published by People. “They have concluded that he accidentally hit something on the back of his head, thought nothing of it and fell asleep. No drugs or alcohol were involved.”
The Saget family said they were “overwhelmed by the unbelievable outpouring of love” from their fans, adding that the support has been “a great comfort” to them.

The family continued, “Now that we have the final findings from the authorities’ investigation, we felt it appropriate that fans hear those findings directly from us.” “As we continue to grieve together, we ask everyone to remember the love and laughter that Bob brought into this world, and the lesson he taught us all: to be kind to everyone. For the people you love, to let them know that you love them, and to face difficult times with hugs and laughter.”
Saget was on a comedy tour and had a show the day before near Jacksonville, Fla.
The 65-year-old had a major appearance on American TV screens in the 1990s as father Danny Tanner on Full House and the host of America’s Funniest Home Videos.
He was also the narrator of the show How I Met Your Mother from 2005 to 2014 and reprized the role of Danny Tanner in the Netflix reboot Fuller House between 2016 and 2020. And Saget often played himself or herself in a one-off or recurring parody. Roles in TV shows and movies.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Florida said the deputy was called after an unresponsive man was found in a room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando.
Authorities identified the man as Saget – saying he was pronounced dead at the scene, with no signs of dishonesty or drug use.
